A lousy report on unemployment is the latest specter to haunt the nation's faltering economy. The U.S. Dept. of Labor reported this morning that the jobless rate edged up to 9.2 percent in June, adding a meager 18,000 new jobs compared to May.
At least 14.1 million Americans were out of work in June, 6.3 million have been jobless for six months or longer.…
